If you think transformation is easy, you’ve made drastic changes and it all came very easily and naturally to you, I’m going to tell you that you haven’t truly changed inside, especially your brain's wiring.
Why do I say this? Because that happened to me. I changed my diet and lifestyle, I was doing well as an online tarot reader being self-employed from home, I lost 70 lbs and got into great shape, better in my late 40s than in my early 20s!
When I fell off of the wagon and self-destructed it happened fast and hard. I gained back the 70 lbs plus and extra 30, got out of shape because I couldn’t walk since I couldn’t breathe (which I later discovered was dairy from A1 casein affecting my respiratory system and causing a diagnosis of COPD). It’s taken more than a decade to start getting back on track and it’s doing the inner work that’s creating moments of success before temptation derails me again as I keep working on identifying and slaying those demons.
Change and transformation are difficult and scary because our survival wiring is designed to keep us safe in order to stay alive, so when things are comfortable that part brain is working well. We put it in a panic when we use the more complex parts of our brain to change internally and externally.
And yet we’re wired for change as well, that’s what’s driven us to learn to utilize tools and invent things like fire and shelter that have helped us to survive. So basically these two parts of the brain fight each other in an internal battle and it’s at the level of the subconscious that we need to override the part that doesn’t want us to break out of our comfort zone and take risks that may cause us harm. I'll talk more about how to do this in future posts.
In the meantime, I'm now making sweeping changes in my life but doing so by building upon previous ones, adding on step by step as I incorporate each one energetically, emotionally, psychologically, mentally and physically working on the subconscious as well as conscious levels. This is what I help you learn to do as well in order to succeed at making the changes you desire in your life.
Love and Light,
Diane B. Jarecki 💖
